About

The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis.”

— Dante Alighieri

Justin Arjune - Director of Photography/Producer

Taking a story (or even finding a story via documentary) and visualizing it through a lens is what I love to do the most.

As a cinematographer and photographer I have been gifted with a life that lets me drift in and out of the world's diverse cultural and social spheres. Learning about the world from behind a lens has given me a deep respect for the beauty (and ugliness) of the world we all share. Amid all our differences inside and out, of the social and economical factors that seem to separate our society; to our various backgrounds, upbringings. character flaws and strengths - there still exists something within each of us that connects us all. There lies the nature of the human heart.

All you need to capture it is the right eye ;)

I have been working for the better part of a decade in various roles as a filmmaker. From associate producing to cinematography, photography, writing, editing, sound, music production and animation. My work has been shown on television screens across Ontario as well as in film festivals across North America. The range of my experience includes commercials, documentary, broadcast television series, short and feature films, government, corporate and non-profit video projects.

Anything that can capture an idea and tell it in a beautifully crafted way, that's what will get me excited about a project.

Equipment

Whether your project calls for the newest high-end cinema camera from space (literally) or an iPhone...I've got you covered.

I currently shoot on the Red Gemini, but in Toronto you can access just about any gear you need to give your project the look it needs.

It's not just me...

I work with a roster of professionals. The size of the team depends on the project. From feature films to indie videos...we can connect with the right people to make any project happen.
